Chicken Coop 10×12

The inside area for the chickens is 7.5’x9.5′ = 71.25sf/4sf = 17.81 (18) chickens. Allowing 4sf/chicken is healthy and comfortable estimate for the birds. Storage area is 3.5’x9.5′ = 33.25sf. Has 1 double nesting box for egg laying. Also includes (1) 24×27 awning window on the back wall for ventilation, and a programmable automatic chicken door. Roof is black metal with 1 opaque white panel on each slope allowing more light inside of the coop. Has (1) 6′ wide chicken perch with two bars which would probably accommodate up to 12 grown chickens allowing 1′ per bird. There is enough room on the opposite wall to build another perch of the same size.
